ABOUT SIMRAN DAGA

As an Assistant Manager at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, I work with one of the most prestigious and luxurious hotel chains in India, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service for our guests and partners. I collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor various projects and initiatives, such as enhancing the digital experience, improving operational efficiency, and increasing guest satisfaction and loyalty. I have a strong academic background and a passion for learning and teaching. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Human Resources from the International School of Management Excellence and completed my MSc in Hotel and Hospitality Administration from the Institute of Management Study in 2022, focusing on topics such as tourism, hospitality, and management. I also have experience as an Assistant Professor at IIAS School of Management, where I taught and mentored students in the hospitality sector, and as a Guest Services Executive at Jio World Convention Centre, where I handled the front office operations and event coordination. I can communicate well in 8 different languages, which helps me to connect with diverse audiences and cultures. My core competencies include team coordination, event management, and human nature. I love taking up challenges and have a track record of completing them in the best manner possible, for which I have been appreciated and recognized I am motivated by the opportunity to create memorable and meaningful experiences for our guests, partners, and colleagues, and to contribute to the growth and success of The Leela group.
