About Simran Chopra
As a tax senior at PwC, I provide tax compliance and consulting services to corporate and individual clients, leveraging my skills in various software and systems, such as Lacerate, ProFx, CCH, NetSuite, Xero, and QuickBooks. I also review and file federal and multi-state tax returns, extensions, and payments, and respond to notices and inquiries from taxing authorities. I stay abreast of the latest tax regulations, rulings, and legislative changes, and recommend improvements to tax processes and workpapers. I am a CPA candidate, eligible for the license in September 2024.In addition to my tax career, I am also passionate about wellness and balance, which led me to co-found The Unlabeled Initiative, a social enterprise that promotes healthy lifestyle choices through mindful yoga sessions and nutritional advice. I am a certified yoga instructor, and I lead private and group classes for students of all levels and backgrounds. I completed my undergraduate degree from UC Irvine, with a major in business/managerial economics and a minor in accounting, and I am currently pursuing a certificate in accounting from UCLA Extension.
