ABOUT SIMON WHEELER

With over 30 years in both consultancy and contracting, I have experience in team management, interpretative and factual report writing, geotechnical design of foundations, slopes and retaining walls and site investigation. I can design and supervise ground investigations, undertake project management, invoice and budget control.My passion is understanding the ground, both from a geotechnical and engineering geological standpoint.My extensive experience includes working for ground investigation contractors and geotechnical consultants. I am technically capable including costing, specifying and organising ground investigations.Clients like me for my ability to provide succinct summaries of data without being overly technical and that I work well within a team with an ability to communicate with people at all levels from one site staff to managers and peers. I am a Fellow of the Geological Society and I am currently working towards being chartered.
