Monkey Park is a non-profit Community Interest Company that is changing the face of its town. We operate a community hub in a deprived area of Chesterfield, Derbyshire - containing a number of services including- community space & meeting room- community cafe- cycle workshop- startup community & co-work space, focusing on social enterprises & digital businesses- mentoring & support service for community businesses- activities/events for local people, focussed on wellbeing, reduction of social isolation & localeconomic developmentWe also do extensive work in partnership with local people, councils & businesses to improve our area, including projects to install a riverside walkway, community flower/vegetable planters & new paved walking routes.Within our hub, we work hard to build communities of many sorts including environmental groups, craft groups & Chesterfield\'s SpireDigital technology initiative.
