Property Pod(d) is an informal, yet valued networking meet-up for a collective of experienced SME property developers. The late afternoon sessions tend to follow a clinic/roundtable format where we encourage shared learning and discussion. The attendees come together to provide support and guidance via a discussion forum covering topics such as specific planning challenges through to the impact of macro trends.We meet every 6 weeks or so in central London on a Thursday from 3.30pm - 6 pm, followed by drinks in a nearby pub or bar. Attendance is limited to 15 people per session to foster conversations. Founding members number 20.If you are an experienced developer and would like to join our merry gang then please get in touch. ABOUT SIMON PODD
Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my profile. Most recently Simon has leveraged the skills and his client-led, service-led ethos from his time in the corporate world, to undertake membership management, general manager duties, business partnerships, retention, and growth duties at networking clubs and community hubs; Qandor and Meshwork.Alongside his current employment, he has managed to build out a remotely-run lettings portfolio in the East Midlands and North West from his bases in London and Devon. He also has interests in multiple property development projects, both as a property investor and SSAS trustee. Prior to 2016, Simon built a career in media and advertising technology, leading advertising teams in both established publishing businesses (Associated Newspapers and News Intl) and later for start-ups in the social media and mobile app space. As an early joiner for both Bebo and Flurry, Simon relished developing new ad-models in a nascent sector, culminating in multi-hundred million dollar acquisitions by AOL and Yahoo respectively. As an avid networker, Simon now hosts a bi-monthly property meet-up for experienced property developers and investors.
