I\'m part of TikTok\'s Global Information Security and Incident Response Legal team. This global team addresses the entire spectrum of cybersecurity legal issues, including breach preparedness and incident response for security and privacy incidents, governance, compliance, regulatory strategy, communications, and government and internal investigations with a cyber nexus- Admitted in Belgium (since 26 September 2016) and in England and Wales (since 30 September 2023)- Gained experience in U.S.(McDermott Will & Emery), U.K.(Bird & Bird), and Belgian (Lydian) firms. In that context, I specialised in privacy, cybersecurity and telecommunications law with experience in advisory, litigious, and transactional contexts- Studied at Ghent University (Master of Laws), Pantheon-Sorbonne University (Erasmus exchange), and Vlerick Business School (Master in General Management)- Recognised as Recommended Lawyer in the Belgian 20••••23 Legal 500 rankings in Tier 1 categories:\"Privacy and Data Protection\" and \"IT & Telecoms\"- CIPP/E and CIPP/US certified- CompTIA Security+ certified. Earners of this ANSI/ISO certification have demonstrated the knowledge and skills necessary to perform core security functions required of any cybersecurity role. They know how to identify and address potential threats, attacks and vulnerabilities and they have established techniques in risk management, risk mitigation, threat management and intrusion detection.
