Manage and lead University Apprenticeships Team, ensuring team members have the technical and personal skills and motivation to deliver challenging institutional targets.•Develop and advise on all aspects of the University’s apprenticeship programme development, marketing and management plan.•To develop strategy for customer relationship management techniques to optimise the number of employers wishing to work with the University. •Provide continuous support to assist in developing and motivating staff within Faculty and Directorate teams in order to deliver a continuously improving, customer focused environment that delivers high standards of service and enhances the student, apprentice and employer experience. •To provide management and leadership to develop and operate business processes which are innovative, lean and effective and which optimise academic achievement and student satisfaction to a multi-disciplinary team. •Provide direction for the marketing of student-apprenticeships from employers of all sizes, ensuring appropriate campaigns, initiatives and activities are developed and implemented to ensure recruitment targets are met.•To ensure that the Apprenticeship Team operates in accordance with approved ESFA, OFS and OFSTED processes and complies with University policies and procedures. •Manage budget in accordance with the University’s financial regulations.•Develop and manage SLAs with partner institutions and stakeholder organisations to ensure effective working across internal and external teams and academic colleagues during every stage of the apprenticeship learning and training process. •To represent the University on key committees, working groups, and employer groups both internal to the University and with external stakeholders. •Work closely with the University Senior Leaders to ensure institutional targets associated with apprenticeships are met.
