ABOUT SIMON LIPSCOMB
Partner at Efficio, an international procurement consultancy. He has more than 23 years of procurement experience across both the private and public sectors. He has worked as a consultant, within industry and as a civil servant, and he now leads Efficio’s public sector work. Simon has held various roles, including Sales Director at PROACTIS and Programme Manager at the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA). He has comprehensive expertise on the UK public sector, with experience of complex procurement and supply chain projects in Central Government, Health, Local Government, and Defence. Additionally he has been a member of the senior management team in a number of procurement technology businesses, propelling their growth. He took one business through its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the London Stock Exchange AIM Market and another from a start-up to become one of the largest global procurement and supply chain technology companies. He is also the host of the “Spotlight on Procurement” podcast, in which he talks to senior business leaders around the world about procurement and supply chain issues.
