ABOUT SIMON SQUIRE
Simon Squire is part of BNY’s Global Collateral Platform Leadership team, focusing on product development and innovation. He is responsible for driving the overall business strategy and leading teams that enhance the client experience and expand product capabilities, incoming strategic partnerships with external firms. Alongside his functional responsibilities, Simon sits on the board of HQLAx, a DLT based Fintech, is a member of the Canadian Collateral Infrastructure and Market Practices Advisory Group (CIMPA), and is an active member of the International Securities Lending Association (ISLA) an International Capital Market Association (ICMA). Prior to joining BNY, Simon spent more than a decade at Goldman Sachs in various global leadership roles in financing (including repo and securities lending), and collateral mobilisation and optimisation. Simon earned an MSc in Management Science and Operational Research from Warwick Business School, and a BSc in Mathematics with Management from The University of Liverpool
