I am an innovative and passionate leader with over 30 years of experience conceiving, designing, developing and delivering software services and systems to businesses that rely on those services to enable critical operations (including revenue) and serve their users and global subscribers. I am creative in identifying and realizing new opportunities to adapt and grow the services ensuring they remain vital to the business.As a technical leader and individual contributor, I enjoy solving complex problems and delivering value. Examples include- the standing up of a cloud-based global data directory and relationship service- the scaling up of provisioning systems due to more complex business requirements and a 20-factor growth in subscriber base- the high-level design for a system to manage virtual machines on physical hardware (this was back in 2001 and anticipated the trend towards virtualization in the Data Centre and is the basis for modern Cloud Computing); and- the development of a dynamic tree-based securities holdings reporting tool (a novel solution at the time and similar mechanisms are now widely used in the investment management industry).
