Simon Ho has a twenty-plus year career history in the electronics industry marked by repeated recognition for commitment, loyalty, focus, and dedication to continuous improvement. Launching his career with Panasonic in Singapore, he rose through progressive positions in design engineering and quality management while completing certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt. From this point, he relocated to Canada to join the Manufacturing Engineering, BlackBerry team to develop the NPI programs for BlackBerry highest running models including the BB10 smartphone devices. In 2012, he was promoted to lead the DFx Platform for all new BlackBerry NPI devices. Throughout his award-winning career, Simon has accumulated a robust technical skill set related to product design optimization, continuous process improvement, manufacturing engineering, and Six Sigma/LEAN implementation. Harnessing this technical expertise in combination with natural leadership and communication skills, he succeeded in generating dramatic reductions in production and operating costs by fine-tuning every aspect of design-to-production manufacturing. He is earmarked by his professional network for being dedicated and innovative leadership professional with immense experience in strategic planning, product development, six sigma/kaizen/lean manufacturing, quality management, and design for manufacturability. Armed with skills in motivational and organizational management, process and performance improvement, program and project leadership, he is equipped with effective interactive and excellent communication with executive managementSimon was part of the dynamic Manufacturing Engineering Team, Google.
