Working with a caseload of up to 120 participants on the Pioneer Programme, a DWP pilot programme to encourage and engage previously inactive participants into employment and training opportunities while helping them to overcome their barriers to moving forward. Creating individualised twice monthly Action Plans, identifying training and wellbeing needs as well as engaging in Business Development activities to source more opportunities for my participants. I also regularly liaise with DWP staff and other professionals to update them on the progress of the Clients they have referred and to report any additional needs they may have. Additionally, I take part in promotional events to recruit more participants and give talks on the In Work Support we offer.I regularly share best practice at Team Meetings and am often called upon my colleagues for IAG to support them and their caseloads with fresh and original ideas as well as upcoming events such as Job Fairs and training opportunities as well as sharing some of the resources I have collated in my years working in this sector. I was awarded ‘Superstar of the Month’ in March, April and June 2024. I am also a staff representative and sit on Shaw Trust’s ‘Employee Voice’ Committee where we discuss and suggest ideas to improve welfare for colleagues
