The product: The SAP Field Service Management solution empowers technicians to boost customer satisfaction with mobile tools, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and IOT data. Bringing field technicians, tools, spare parts faster to the right customer.What I do:Technical leadership for our cloud native product built by our globally distributed engineering teams consisting of 150 FTE.Together with our outstanding engineering organization of Software, Automation, Data- and ML-Engineers, who work on a variety of different tech stacks and programming languages (Java, C#, Typescript, Swift, Kotlin, Python), I lead and shape the future product software architecture as well as guide constant improvements in areas like integration, automation, performance and security. Ensuring consistent technical guidelines for our engineering team is very close to my heart. But also, within the technical architecture team that I manage, I evaluate new technical innovations and concepts to research best practices to put in place solution wide.
