Simone Nobili is a fiction writer and a Top 100 Amazon bestselling author in Absurdist Fiction. His debut novel, Lizard Life, is on the shelves of Barnes & Noble in the U.S, Waterstones in the U.K, and Angus & Robertson in Australia, as well as several iconic indie bookstores in Los Angeles and London. Simone is also the founder of TRANSATLANTIC Arts & Media LLC, a creative consultancy behind the TRANSATLANTIC podcast, which features conversations with cultural icons like Sir John Hegarty, Bozoma Saint John, and Jeff Goodby. Its spinoff, the Ocean’s Series, sponsored by the London International Awards and filmed at The Wynn Encore in Las Vegas, is now in its fourth season. Simone’s international career in advertising began in 2003 at Leo Burnett Milan, where he helped launch McDonald’s global “I’m Lovin’ It” campaign by writing rap lyrics and recording at the Record Plant Studio in Hollywood. After being recognized by the Clio Awards as one of the 12 best creatives in the world, Simone joined Jung von Matt/9 in Hamburg as a senior copywriter. In 2006, TBWA\\Chiat\\Day New York brought him to the United States as a Global Creative Director on an O-1 visa. This marked the start of several years working across TBWA offices in New York, London, and Los Angeles.Following a stretch of global freelance work, Simone led television campaigns and experiential events for ASICS in San Diego. In 2014, he moved to San Francisco to become Creative Director at Cutwater, where he led the creative work for Google and Ubisoft. The following year, he joined AKQA as Activision’s Creative Director, where his campaign for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare won a Gold Lion at Cannes in 2017.In 2022, Simone joined VML as Group Creative Director based in New York, where he led creative for one of the agency’s top technology clients and contributed to new business efforts across offices in cities including London, Dubai, and Madrid. Simone has shared his creative knowledge through lectures at Miami Ad School and LMU Los Angeles, and mentored emerging talent at the San Francisco Portfolio School and The One Show.

Published by TRANSATLANTIC Arts and Media.The novel tells the story of a neuroscientist who, after losing everything and watching his house go into foreclosure, transforms his family into lizards so they can secretly live in the backyard of the home they once owned. But by doing so, they encounter another lizard — named Caligula — who turns out to be an agent of the simulated universe, sent to hunt them down and return the family to human form.
