Hi there! If you’re reading this, you probably clicked on my profile out of curiosity—or maybe by accident:) Either way, I appreciate you taking a moment to be here.Let me introduce myself. My name is Simone Lhanzome Subba. I was born and raised in Dubai, where I spent my formative academic years at Delhi Private School, Dubai. I am currently a second-year undergraduate student at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering in the Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology. My interest in this field began back in the 10th grade, when I first found myself grappling with the question of what I wanted to pursue professionally. I was—and still am—deeply fascinated by the idea of blending biology with engineering and technology to create solutions that can truly make an impact. Over time, this curiosity has grown into a strong interest in areas such as recombinant DNA technology, biosensors, and cancer therapy research.Beyond academics, I’m a HUGE film and music geek, an avid reader, and a decent artist on my better days. I enjoy exploring creative spaces just as much as scientific ones, as they keep me curious and grounded.
