ABOUT SIMONE GIOVANNINI

Finance Executive with 20 years of experience in Administration, Finance and Control within multinational groups operating in complex and international environments, with a consistent focus on innovation, organizational development and continuous improvement of financial and operating processes.I started my career at KPMG Advisory, working with companies – often backed by Private Equity – on projects aimed at strengthening finance functions, redesigning operating processes and supporting organizational transformation. That experience shaped my approach to finance as a function that not only ensures control and discipline, but also contributes to improving how organizations operate.I then joined Renco Group (500+ €m revenues, 50+ subsidiaries worldwide), where I have contributed over the years to the structuring and progressive evolution of the Group Finance function in a rapidly expanding international context.Throughout my career I have- Structured and reorganized AFC functions across different sectors (manufacturing, EPC, energy, real estate and services), aligning organization and processes with business complexity and growth- Developed management control and performance management systems, including budgeting, forecasting, industrial reporting, project control and margin analysis to support executive decision-making- Led the Group Project Management Office, integrating project and portfolio management with financial control and performance reporting across international projects- Served as Branch Director of a 500-employee international subsidiary, overseeing financial and operational performance and managing approximately €200m in revenues over three years- Supervised accounting, statutory and consolidated financial reporting (OIC/IFRS), managing audit relationships and progressively strengthening governance and internal control frameworks- Led group financial planning activities, treasury management and working capital optimization initiatives- Structured credit facilities and worked on international project finance transactions with banks, investors and multilateral institutions.I combine strategic perspective with strong analytical discipline and a hands-on approach, with particular attention to strengthening financial structures, supporting business growth and continuously improving the quality of financial information and decision-making processes.
