ABOUT SIMON HARRIS
Following a successful career in advertising and marketing, I established in the 1990’s a management consulting boutique based in Cambridge. From this emerged an interest in supporting high-growth technology ventures through Business Angel and Venture Capital investment. Since 2004 I have helped to found, fund and build a series of high-tech companies with world-class technology and the potential to achieve high exit values for founders and investors. My main interest is in Energy Transition, batteries and charging systems. In January 2022 I became Executive Chairman of Metaboards Ltd, an Oxford University spin-out. Metaboards has developed a unique NFC wireless charging platform for personal and IoT devices, of which there are billions around the world.
