About Simone Pious
I\'ve always found myself inclined towards words. There is amazing power in the content, I believe, be it verbal or in writing. Keeping up with my passion, my career which spans over 12 years, has been centered around words; be it as a Content Writer that started while I was still pursuing my education, or as a PR Professional that followed writing, or in my present role in Marketing Communications. With the exponential growth of Social media and the Creator Economy, PR is no longer restricted to media coverage, which was the picture many had only a decade ago. Now PR is everything that impacts or could impact reputation. This includes Employee Advocacy, Customer Advocacy, Event Management, and most importantly Social Media. This expands the scope of what a PR professional can do, and I find that amazing. I\'ve been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work in these areas, more so in the last two and a half years, which have added immense value to my professional learning. Presently, I am learning more about the power of influence.
