About Simone Masoch
I work as Postdoctoral researcher at the Nevada Seismological Laboratory - University of Nevada, Reno (Reno, Nevada). I do research in Structural Geology. My research interests concern the structure and evolution of faults and shear zones in the Earth\'s continental crust, and the deformation mechanisms and fluid-rock interaction occurring in fault zone rocks. I am a big fun of the outdoors. I love practicing sports in my free time, mainly trail running, hiking, climbing and ski touring in my home region, the Dolomites, and in the Alps, in general. I have always been curious about discovering and exploring new places and learning new cultures. So, I am really enthusiastic about new experiences.
