ABOUT SIMONE LIUZZI

I am a Physicist (MSc), combining an exceptional background in data analysis, programming, and algorithms management and development with great skills for modelling and solving complex problems.I gained significant experience in scientific research in prestigious User Research Facility environments. In this environment, time is critical. I am used to performing data analysis on the fly to take critical executive decisions in a team.My duties included data gathering, cleaning and processing, experiment design, development of autonomous algorithms, reporting and stakeholder management.Since 2015, I have been involved in a number of projects on data analysis, Machine Learning and blockchain in the UK and in Italy, and contributed critically to build business cases and models and present to clients, funders and sponsors.I consult on data analysis and management, and blockchain adoption. I developed expertise and skills to understand and satisfy requests from clients from different contexts.I have solid coding skills notably in C, Python, Matlab, Solidity and R, and I am also comfortable with Js and Rust.I am working with the latest blockchain technologies, developing Ethereum smart contracts and alpha-testing distributed data management technologies, like IPFS and MaidSafe.I have gained significant experience applying these skills to data analysis, automation of data acquisition processes, automated regression models, and code optimisation.I have received training in public speaking, teaching, and feedback management and practised these skills as Teaching Assistant and in a number of high-profile international conferences.These transferable skills have been proven key to engaging clients, sponsors, and funders.I read books, cook food, and shoot arrows at targets. I love travelling and acting on stage. I passionately engage with public issues, and I love spreading STEM knowledge.
