As a Technical Assurance Analyst at the National Police Chiefs\' Council (NPCC), I help public safety leaders make informed and confident decisions about the technology they need to deliver their services. I have over 20 years of experience in IT projects, ITIL certification, and a strong background in evidence-based policing and team building.My mission is to bridge the gap between technology and business, and to ensure that technology is steered by real users and their needs. I do this by providing clear and practical explanations of technology concepts, reviewing and assuring documents, offering private briefings, identifying areas to challenge suppliers, and advising on contractual issues. I have successfully supported multiple technology projects for the Emergency Services Network (ESN), the UK\'s new critical communications system.
