As Managing Partner at Franklins Solicitors LLP, I lead a team of over 120 professionals, balancing leadership with hands-on client work. My background is in Corporate and Commercial Law, specialising in business acquisitions, restructures, and shareholder agreements. While I still enjoy working directly with clients on these matters, and am currently responsible for our Family Law and Private Client departments, my role today extends far beyond fee-earning.I oversee the firm’s strategic direction, working closely with our leadership team to drive growth, embrace technology, and ensure we maintain the highest standards of legal service. A key part of my work involves risk management and compliance - I serve as our Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), and Compliance Officer for Legal Practitioners (COLP), ensuring we uphold rigorous AML protocols and best practices.Technology is transforming the legal sector, and I’m committed to leveraging innovation to enhance both client experience and operational efficiency. From AI-assisted document generation to digital onboarding solutions, we’re integrating tools that improve service while maintaining the personal touch that defines Franklins.Growth is another priority - both in terms of expanding our services and exploring strategic acquisitions.
