About Simona Dalin
I am interested in factors that contribute to genomic rearrangements in cancer and germline genomes, and how these factors impact human disease. I have developed new computational algorithms to study genomic rearrangements. I also have expertise in a variety of experimental methods to study human disease, particularly cancer and chemotherapy resistance. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow with Rameen Beroukhim and Gaddy Getz at Dana Farber and the Broad Institute studying genomic rearrangements and double strand break repair in germline and cancer genomes.
