ABOUT SIMON WINTER
Simon Winter works as Strategic Foresight Expert in the European and International Cooperation Department at the DLR Project Management Agency. Simon conceptualised and facilitated Strategic Foresight workshops on behalf of the European Commission or in the framework of the International Security Forum Bonn. He co-coordinates the Commission\'s study “Support for Strategic Foresight on Research & Innovation Futures in EU Enlargement Countries”. Before joining the DLR, he worked as Policy Analyst in the OECD’s Public Governance Directorate. Among others, he worked in the team in charge of Costa Rica’s accession process to the OECD as well as on issues related to public sector reforms, Policy Monitoring and Evaluation, Open Government and the administration of the EEA/Norway/Iceland/Liechtenstein Grants across the Directorate. Previously, he was Associate Editor in a think tank. Simon is fluent in German, English, Spanish as well as French and has an educational background in three different academic systems.
