I am currently in the Specialist Royal Engineer Reserve Force Based at Chilwell, Nottingham as an Infrastructure Engineer. I have deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Herrick 17 as an Assistant Supervising Officer to train, mentor and develop the Afghan Engineers rehabilitating the canal irrigation system. During non combat deployments the team has deployed in support of the regular Army teams to Cyprus, Jersey and Weymouth to carry out various water infrastructure projects and training.
