ABOUT SIMON VICK
Simon has over 30 years’ experience of working within a number of leading Midlands Housing Associations including Midland Heart, Circle Housing (Clarion), Fortis Living, Platform, Bromford and now at Arcadis as Account Director for Affordable Housing.During his career in affordable housing Simon has gained an extensive knowledge of the affordable housing development process. During his time at Midland Heart he helped to grow the development programme to in excess of 800 completions per annum in the Midlands. At Fortis Living he restructured and led a team which delivered 3,500 new affordable homes across five years. At Bromford he led the Midlands team to over 2,800 new affordable homes in just over four years. Simon’s experience ranges across most housing tenures and housing needs and he has an extensive network of contacts with house-builders, contractors, agents, local authorities and Homes England. Simon is a natural people person with a collaborative working style which he combines with excellent leadership and project management skills. A graduate of Wolverhampton University, Simon has both a honours degree in Business Enterprise and a CIM Diploma in Marketing. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing,
