Senior security and risk leader with substantial technology background, with 20 years experience in information & cyber security, and technology, working in the global fintech and SaaS space. Extensive experience creating business aligned and compliant information security strategies, as well as building, maturing, monitoring, and board level reporting and advising on information & cyber security programs and risk. Well versed with both long term visionary multi-year strategies, as well as short term risk prioritized approaches. Significant experience building, leading, and mentoring high performing and proactive information & cyber security, risk, and technology teams globally. Extensive experience working with information security frameworks, certifications, and audit, including ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI, and NIST, in both regulated and non-regulated environments. Extensive security due diligence and third party risk experience, working with clients including major financial institutions, banks, and hedge funds. As comfortable building and maturing information security within startup environments, as with working as part of major technology and financial services groups, such as FIS, CME Group, and Deutsche Borse Group, including substantial merger and de-merger experience integrating/de-integrating and aligning security and risk strategies, frameworks, policies, controls, and technology.
