This is done via a concept car and a show car• Achieve maximum perceived quality with minimum cost/time. Make the LUCID Air the best car in its class / price• Define and achieve gap/flush targets and build quality objectives for interior and exterior fit/finish • Support GD & T input/output, through design iteration and manufacturing execution to ensure world class gap/flush • Provide expertise on customer-perceived quality to Styling, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers• Champion the integration of engineering craftsmanship into the LUCID product design process• Benchmarking of vehicles considered to be a competitor to the Air to aid its development• Lead the activity to industrialise materials selected by CMF designers to prove out their suitability whilst maintaining costs and perceived quality• Supporting on site manufacturing trials for components to ensure that selected materials work• Leading the Interior feasibility discussions with the Tier 1 suppliers and sub-vendors• Develop a time line with the Design team, Tier 1 suppliers and Project Management to set milestones for the development of the Interior• Lead the DQ (Design Quality) team for review of parts to support Grain Go, Colour Harmony and AAR (Appearance Approval Review)
