ABOUT SIMON SQUIRES
Simon originally trained with PWC as a Chartered Accountant and has worked in commercial insurance operations for the last twenty years. For the last 16 years Simon has worked for XL Catlin and is Senior Operations Lead UK & Ireland; International & Premium Collections. Currently we are also supporting the London Target Operting Model (TOM) and XL Catlins alignment with these new processes. Previously, Simon held roles at IBM HUON implementing insurance systems, RSA in operations and finance, and PWC working in London and internationally for insurance and financial services clients.Simon is now the Global Chair of Ruschlikon and was Chairman of Ruschlikon UK between 2011 and 2017 helping to facilitate implementations of ACORD standard messaging across a wide community of brokers, insurers, and reinsurers based in London, and now internationally. He is also now Chair of the Ruschlikon Steering group and actively promotes usage of this technology on a global basis to deliver efficiency and improvements in business process. From its commencement in 2010 working with key brokers this has been one of the most successful process transformation projects in the London Insurance Market.
