ABOUT SIMON SMITH
I am a UK registered Architect (ARB), chartered member of the Royal Institute of Architects (RIBA) and Architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC). For the most part, my Architectural training took place at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University - Upon leaving full time higher education, I remained in Cardiff for a while to work for the award-winning multi-office practice Austin-Smith:Lord, spending time on some large and prestigious projects. However in 2006, the bright lights of Stoke-on-Trent beckoned and I relocated to North Staffordshire, taking up a position at Wood Goldstraw Yorath LLP, eventually becoming an equity partner. I left after 17 years to establish my own architectural practice, Cruciform in 2024.I thoroughly enjoy what I do and I hope to enthuse others I work with along the way with the same passion I have for Architecture and the built environment.
