I am a qualified chartered accountant with 22 years PQE, 18 years of it outside practice. My years in business have been predominantly in the service industry sector giving me a wealth of experience in the financial and commercial aspects of running service companies. I have been involved in turnaround situations, M&A work, detailed forecasting for city projects, grooming companies for sale (and subsequent trade sales), cost reduction exercises and very tight working capital management as well as all aspects of day-to-day running of finance, personnel, administration and IT departments.I bring an open, honest and intelligent attitude to any role and achieve my aims and objectives through collaborative working and diplomacy. I am a team-player who builds respect with his staff and peers and I believe I can influence without being overly strident. I am a committed individual who values relationships in the workplace and with external stakeholders and believe that I can forge lasting commercial relationships.
