As Deputy Director at NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership - Specialist Estates Services, I am responsible for the management of the SES NHS Wales facing sections i.e. Property, Estates Development, Engineering and Building for Wales. Duties also include:· estate policy leadership in support of the WG’s objectives for NHS Wales.· leading the development of strategic infrastructure plans across NHS Wales that help deliver the WG’s sensitive issues, policy objectives and NHS organisations’ service priorities.· In conjunction with relevant heads of service ensure that that formal Authorised Engineers advice / direction is provided and communicated to appropriate levels within health boards and within Welsh Government· In conjunction with relevant heads of service ensure timely procurement of national frameworks for design and delivery of major capital schemes· Assisting in managing the Estates Funding Advisory Board capital programme. Leading the provision of Specialist Estates services to NWSSP corporate and divisional groups.
