The things I am a part of, are greater than the part I play in them. However, I know that with the right team, vision, passion, and hard work I can maintain focus and drive results that create real change. I am Simon Pollard, a 49-year-old entrepreneur with the enthusiasm and vision to succeed and improve lives. Being born and living in Leeds, I have spent the last 30 years building multiple thoroughly successful businesses by living and breathing business strategy. I am tenacious in my mission to achieve and secure success in building leading brands with a solid foundation.Throughout my career, I have curated a diverse portfolio, working across a number of industries in several very exciting companies as the founder and Group Chief Executive. This includes my status as CEO of the world\'s leading prosthetic hand business, COVVI, which has received global recognition over recent years for work being done to change thousands of lives.We are now introducing COVVI Robotics, bringing the ground-breaking COVVI Hand, to the robotics sector.I am passionate about ensuring my customers are valued- a core principle that sits at the heart of everything I do. Working across a number of different sectors has ensured I can deliver the absolute best customer experience in all of my endeavours, building upon strong foundations to define a clear pathway and right approach across my group of companies.In 2015, I was chosen as one of Yorkshire’s stand-out business leaders by top business journal The Insider. The \'42 Under 42\' programme recognises Yorkshire’s most dynamic and inspirational young entrepreneurs, celebrating their success in helping to grow regional economy.
