ABOUT SIMON PARFIT

I truly believe data has the power to change lives, help companies achieve better outcomes and to make the world a better place. Throughout my career I have worked with a wide variety of clients to provide data solutions to meet their analytics and BI needs. This has covered the full data journey from explaining the art of the possible, engaging with the client to help them understand their requirements, through to designing, building and delivering complex data solutions and end user training. My extensive experience spans various sectors and industries, including Financial Services, Local and National Government, Policing, Further and Higher Education, as well as numerous privately-owned organisations. This has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of organisational data needs and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.In my recent role at Capita, I have successfully balanced my responsibilities as a data solutions architect with managing a team of data and analytics engineers, while maintaining hands-on development involvement in projects. This hybrid role has enabled me to drive strategic direction, support team development, and stay actively engaged with project work.I now have the opportunity to bring my passion for data and my extensive skill set to new organisations and challenges.
