ABOUT SIMON P.

I have been working in the Industry for two decades in well known established Corporate companies with tasking on a multitude of systems such as, communication, vehicular, power, software and many other discipline specific programmes.I am a passionate and compelled individual and I love to encourage the engineering discipline to all involved. I love how the engineering discipline functions, operates and supports the; business, employees, teams, young, old, experienced, production, programme,(and the most important) final delivery team.I have detailed experience in all areas of delivery with the responsibility in role/s such as the; customer facing, user facing and management of deliveries, process and final qualified product.I enjoy adding my experience to the system design cycle and it’s management, supplier/contract management, design architectures, sub-system specification, requirements management and maintenance, requirement development and specification, change, design proving, validation and verification, testing and test planning and I currently deliver packages over a wide range of business disciplines.I have detailed experience with engineering domains (specialised in UK DEF-STAN standards) including system architectures, power systems and budgets, EME and EMC affects, environmental considerations, safety impacts, HF, electrical design and constraints, mechanical constraints, reliability, legislation and maintainability. I passionately add to project management, configuration management and control, process improvement, commercial matters, supply chain, quality controls, human factors, mechanical factors and, customer and user trials.I am a well-mannered, pleasant, thoughtful and keen individual and I work well within teams and I can manage my own work individually if required. I have great personal skills and have completed a wide range of training courses in this area. I can also manage myself around IP, ethics, culture, security and IT very well. I have also had experience working on Canadian, European, African and Israel contracts.
