ABOUT SIMON NOTBOHM

The completion of my master’s degree in business administration with a focus on \"accounting & taxes\" as well as \"management & entrepreneurship\" at the Otto-von-Guericke-University-Magdeburg will be earned at the end of March 2021. As a a master student, who is also working as a research assistant at the chair for business taxation, I am able to support my professor in many ways. Mainly I help to optimize the online-teaching and support the chair at the creation and publication of scientific papers. Before I started my master study I worked as a junior marketing manager in an online start-up where I managed my own team and had a lot of responsibilities. After that I changed branch and started to work as an intern in a big auditing company where I learned a lot about working with clients. Based on my job experience and my big personal interest to recognize and promote potentials I see my professional future in the consulting industry. The theoretical foundations of my studies, the work at the tax chair, as well as my practical experience in different industries, companies and areas of responsibility allow me to approach problems in a differentiated and creative way in order to contribute to the success of my future company. My professional experience will enable me to understand complex business processes. My activities in customer management and in the audit team will be particularly useful when dealing with clients. In my career so far, I have been able to demonstrate my enthusiasm several times and I also have extensive experience in the areas of independent and structured working methods, technical understanding, analytical thinking and, above all, teamwork. I enjoy communicating in an international environment and I also have a very high degree of flexibility.
