I have been a Solicitor since November 1989 and joined Ramsdens Solicitors LLP as commercial property partner in early 2006. Ramsdens is recognised in the Legal 500. In 2011 we were recognised in the Legal 500 for commercial property, as well as six other areas. Ramsdens won the Best Commercial Litigation, Commercial Property and Employment Law Firm of the Year 2011 - North East England at the DealMakers \'End of Year\' Annual Awards. Ramsdens also won the Law Firm of the Year (11-30 Partners) at the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards 2011 Specialties: All real estate but specialising in commercial property, including: acting for developers on site assembly/acquisitions and subsequent disposals; commercial landlord and tenant, and general commercial property transactions (sales, purchases and re-financing). I also head the firm\'s Academies Team and personally handle the property aspects of the academy conversions.
