Purchased, developed and launched a 5 rated self-catering property in Ventnor, Isle of Wight. A Grade 2 listed cottage within the Victorian Conservation Area. Since March 2021 I have received consistent 5 ratings and amazing feedback from guests. Achieving a higher than average occupancy rate through proactive social media marketing. Primarily sold via Airbnb platform (now in top 1% of listings), although have developed own website. Next steps are to add to the property a modular annex to allow multi-generational stays and separate letting of the annex. Direct booking via the website is planned for 2026 to reduce reliance on Airbnb.
