ABOUT SIMON LEWIS
A dynamic, motivated, customer focussed and experienced leader in local government, I have successfully led and managed all aspects of district council local authority work at strategic and operational level, over a number of years and roles.In my last job as Head of Customer I led 250 operational managers and staff focussed on improving customer experience and delivering effective, high performing services and transactions to a wide customer base. In my current role I am responsible for delivering high performing services for our landlord function for 5,700 tenants, alongside our homelessness and rough sleeping service and community resilience responsibilities. My key skills are driving customer focussed business improvement, change leadership, leading and delivering in complex partnerships and implementing lean process improvements to service delivery. I have developed specialist knowledge in housing, safeguarding, strategy, performance management and collaborative partnership working.
