ABOUT SIMON LENNARD
I’ve always been passionate about great science, being part of a great team and making a real difference. My move from academia to a pioneering small biotech in 1997, where I saw first-hand how bold science, inspiring leadership, teamwork and sharp execution created a lasting impact was a defining moment that shaped my career and I’ve never looked back since.Over the last 25+ years, I’ve been fortunate to have worked with many incredible people in multiple science and organisational leadership roles across Cambridge Antibody Technology, MedImmune and AstraZeneca. Throughout, my focus has been on translating science into products combining strategic thinking, operational agility and execution discipline to scale innovation and deliver meaningful outcomes for patients.Today I operate across a portfolio of roles partnering with biotech founders, start-ups, investors, venture builders and ecosystem accelerators in fractional leadership, board and advisory roles to help translate innovative science and technology into scalable, investable businesses and give back to the incredible ecosystem that created me.Board Member | Translational Biotech Leader | R&D Executive | Early-Stage Biotech | Global Pharma
