WORK HISTORY
Business Improvement Manager - Highways Systems and Process Lead @Amey
Off the back of my contribution and subsequent development throughout the SOM project I was invited to work on Armey\'s new intuitive called Fit for the Future (F4tF). The basic premise of this project was to develop a full end to end process for how the business should operate when not constrained by the existing IT systems, as well as looking at how new technologies can enhance the process through automation and eliminating waste. The overall goal was two fold: 1. Identify measures to monitor each step of the process, to monitor its overall performance and identify areas of failure. To act as the specification for potential software providers to develop a system against. My role on the project was to bring the expertise I built up in process, systems and reporting to the \"Deliver Works\" workstream, which covered all the areas from Highways strategy and maintenance plans, maintaining asset registers though identifying and receiving works, planning and delivery and updating the clients systems, with an output moving into our \"Order to Cash\" workstream.
