ABOUT SIMON JESSON
I have worked as an architect on a variety of projects, in a wide range of sectors over the past 25 years. I enjoy working closely with Clients, The Design Team and Contractors and developers to resolve complex issues and construction detailing to achieve a successful resolution to each project. I have a passion for the construction process, from initial ideas, through the development of the detail through to the work on site, and understand that the construction industry thrives on good working relationships with the whole team.I have been more closely involved with Low energy and Passivhaus schemes which I’ll now be able to put into practice having certified as a PH designer and enjoy the collaboration between architects and engineers to fully integrate building systems into the fabric. I would like to develop this skill integrating it into future projects and opportunities, reflecting the scale of buildings I get involved in.Pre-fabrication of building elements also interests me, reducing the onsite time to construct and maximising quality of product.Specialties: Sustainable Design, Educational spaces, Libraries, Police, Residential, Performance Spaces including, Theatre, Dance and Music spaces. Passivhaus, Universities, AutoCAD, REVIT, ArchiCAD, Bentley Microstation, Sketchup.Outside of architecture, there\'s also Golf, Cycling, Hockey, F1, Rugby, NFL.and interest in pretty much any sport with or without a ball.
