Sustainability strategies to better manage growth, talent, risk, and capital, and make clients more competitive. Simon integrates this approach to generate value for his clients across various industries and segments. Simon has a successful track record in strategic and sustainability advisory services where he draws on over a decade of international business experience building teams and strategic solutions. Simon is a self-starter with high emotional intelligence, a bridge builder with excellent strategic and analytical orientation, and wins trust and respect through thoughtful collaboration. He is a Certified Organizational Coach, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a Masters of Development Finance from the Graduate School of Business University of Cape Town. Prior to BDO, Simon invested over 6 years at the Business Development Bank of Canada, first in the Growth Driver Program, a signature C-Suite growth strategy offering. Simon helped lead the evolution of the program, co-managed a $1.3 billion client portfolio, led a number of impact and efficiency initiatives internally, sat on the Advisory leadership team, and advised executives on growth strategy. Simon subsequently joined the BDC Sustainability & ESG team, where he co-lead the build-out of BDC\'s sustainability strategy. Outside of work, Simon can be found skiing, hiking, biking, and climbing in the mountains where he draws perspective, humility, and inspiration.
