SHAPE is the fully integrated real estate investment, management and development company leading some of the largest and most exciting projects in North America. As EVP, Construction I oversee all construction aspects of building mixed use, master planned communities including, The Amazing Brentwood (28 acres, 4M SF residential, 1M SF retail and SF office) and The City of Lougheed (40 acres, 8.5M SF residential, 1.5M SF retail and 1.5M SF office). After +30 years in the industry working on large scale commercial, residential and healthcare projects including The Fairmont Pacific Rim, Shangri-La Toronto, Richmond Hospital and Bayshore Hotel & Conference Centre, the scale, complexity and vision behind SHAPE’s projects continue to bring new challenges and opportunities. At The Amazing Brentwood alone, concrete totals over M3, rebar exceeds lbs and formwork is in excess of 3,800,00 SF. On average, there are +600 people on-site. Every day is different and every day I’m excited to take part in creating communities that are raising the bar for planning, design and construction in North America.
