Lead for Transformation at East Kent Hospitals for design and delivery of the programme and supporting the development of East Kent staff to deliver transformation themselves.\\\\nI have developed the KENT programme that is a structured approach and toolkit that enables frontline staff to identify a problem and deliver a sustainable solution. Over 600 staff have now been trained at Eat Kent in this methodology and recently the programme was accredited by the Lean Competency System that is associated with Cardiff University.\\\\nWorking with a senior consultant i have developed an annual junior doctor development programme that looks to expose doctors in training at all level and specialties to areas of the hospital outside of their clinical sphere e.g. IT, Strategy, Finance and Estates. They also complete a QI project and present a poster to the Trust senior management team. so far we have completed 3 cohorts and worked with in excess of 70 doctors.\\\\nI am now the Trust transformation lead in implementing We care an organisation wide system that looks to link daily continuous improvement to organisational focus and strategy. Working with the Executive and hospital directors to maintain a focus on a small number of improvement metrics and then challenge Care Group and Frontline Teams to use evidence to identify their key contributors to our core metrics and what they can change at all levels to drive change. We are seeing some great results at all levels and will continue to roll out over the next few years to all units in the Trust\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
