Improving on PM lives of the Borough\'s citizens with our services through Digital Transformation.

Dear Colleagues/Liebe Kollegen/Liebe Kolleginnen I am a skilled and experienced Project Manager (Association of Project Management trained), Lead Trainer, linguist (German/French/Italian) and a qualified teacher with over thirty-five years’ experience in the implementation of learning and development strategies, project management and managing staff (a team of ten at one stage) I have project managed and also led the development and implementation of number of large-scale training workstreams and worked in co-operation with a diverse range of stakeholders (including the EC, and government departments in GB and NI) to develop, deliver and evaluate training strategies, plans, and activities to implement the delivery of various projects, programmes and initiatives across Education and Health. Since joining BSO in Spring 2023, I have been a Senior Project Manager and Training Manager and also used my project management skills in the delivery of the regional £43 million Digital health transformative LIMS Project which went live on 6 November 2023 in the BHSCT and from 9 November 2023 in the SEHSCT (in three disciplines). This involved the training of 800 regionally based laboratory staff on a cascade training model. For Go Live in June 2024 for Cellular Pathology, the most complex of all pathology disciplines, I worked closely with clinicians to sign off the training materials and ensured that the super users were in a position to provide cascade training regionally. I worked in partnership with Senior Managers in the NHSCT to devise a training schedule for Go Live in October 2024 including additional refresher webinars, meetings with other Go Live Trusts followed by the SHSCT and WHSCT in early 2025 when as a Senior Project Manager led on the Go Live Readiness Assessment to provide assurance to the Project Board. With the project fully implemented across all Trusts in 2025, I have been responsible for the training of over 2200 Trust staff as was as leading on the pre-Go Live management. CoreLIMS won in October 2025 at the Advancing Healthcare Awards Northern Ireland 2025! Fantastic for Niall O\'Hagan and my former Team. The CoreLIMS Project was Healthcare Science winners for Service Improvement.
