ABOUT SIMON GODDARD
I’ve been restoring period and listed buildings all over Kent since 1990 and offering myself as a project manager since I have a huge portfolio of satisfied clients, some of whom own incredibly interesting and important historic buildings all over the South East of England. I decided to go back into education to qualify as a structural engineer. After graduating with a degree in Civil/structural engineering I wanted to work in London for a year. During that year, I worked on some of the most iconic buildings in and around London. James Clague of James Clague Architects approached me and asked if I\'d like to put my heritage experience, business management and engineering skills together and become the managing director of BSF Consulting Engineers which he was in the process of buying. I am pleased to say that we are working very well together, offering clients a complete design service. Since taking over we have increased our staff numbers to include an extra structural engineer, CAD technician and an office junior with aspirations to continue expanding at a rate which suits our ever growing client list. The future at BSF is looking bright as we manage the expansion plan which will allow us to service existing and new client\'s requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.
