ABOUT SIMON DUGGAN

I am an experienced project manager with six years experience in overseeing and managing multiple projects at once. My roles have been varied from working in the field setting up stores to tight deadlines and under pressure, all the way to office-based work leading a team looking after the estates layout. I have been a program manager for installations worldwide of retail fixtures for high profile brands within various retailers. My most recent role has seen me project managing the installation of K8 ERP for various customers.I am a loyal and diligent person who will not shy away from a challenge. I believe in doing the right thing and not necessarily the easiest, after taking a pragmatic and honest view.I like to gather as much information as is available prior to making critical decisions and I like to work methodically.I am very adept with the Microsoft Office programs especially Excel which can script and automate. This enables me to work efficiently.I am organised within my work and can manage my time effectively on multiple tasks at once.I consider myself an approachable person who will always maintain a positive attitude.I have had a long and interesting time at Maplin Electronics and have posted a couple of documents here to show some of the things I have done that have had a larger impact. They outline some key things I achieved from a large space planning project, planogramming, retail store set up and store relay to software development done in my own time that were used on a day to basis within the business.
