ABOUT SIMON DIGGINES

I’m a M&E Framework Construction Manager (PM to most people) working within the highly regulated defence sector, delivering complex projects across multi-discipline teams. My career is built on two pillars: technical excellence and people-first leadership.I’ve spent years navigating the realities of NEC4 delivery, programme risk, sequencing challenges, resource constraints, and the constant need to protect value for clients — all while supporting the people who make these projects possible.What matters most to me is developing high-performing teams. Whether that’s guiding apprentices through their first steps, supporting colleagues through difficult moments, or mentoring future leaders, I believe strong leadership is built on clarity, care, and consistency.I’m naturally someone who stays behind the scenes, but I’ve come to value sharing what I’ve learned — the good, the challenging, and the honest parts of leading people and delivering projects in demanding environments.
