I am a farrier with my own business. I have shod horses for 40+ years. I give lectures and give clinics in farriery. My special interest is in foals and hoof development. I achieved a first degree BSc (Hons) in 2012 at the University of Central Lancashire. More recently I have completed a research degree at the same university with a PhD in Equine Physiology and Biomechanics.
